jup i finally stardted reading the manual together with my bigger brother, but he didn't had much time and me neither.
after having read say 10 articals and being one hour later my brother and me got realy tired of it and decided to stop for today, but in the rest of my holydays there was no time for it and here i am on saturday evening i already went one week to school.
i finaly took some of the incredebly usefull advice i've got, and i looked on the forum page of NG.
there i found a load of flash tutorials who were waaaaaaaaaay shorter than the manual (makes me wonder why i even tried to read the manuals) after trying the first steps of the tutorial that was on the top i got stuck (how lame).
i got stuck on a certain point where the cursor sais ''let's go back to the menu'' and i can't click the arrow that made the text go further (no i couldn't experss that better).
so now i'm trying to get myself trough another manual and i was getting bored of all the letters that came by on my screen.
*sight* i never knew that this flash 8 pro was soooooooo big and complicated, but it was me who wanted to make flashes and i WILL get myself trough the manulas/tutorials!!
awell i guess there are just these people who can never get bored, because they always heve something the want to do.
now i'm going on with the tutorials, i realy have to get on with this or else i'll never be able to animate and that should be sad.

lol, sorry i didnt see this, but as you know im grounded lol, my parents aren't home right now and when that happens i sneak onto my computer to see whats up, so yeah, hi and yeah sorry that flash is so complicated, but dont give up, it will take awhile but you'll get the hang of flash at some point. theres plenty of help out there so keep going. so, yeah, i'd better go, and the best of luck to you, cya when im not grounded, lol. :)

i think i found just the tutorial now and will try it soon (as my time is better)

and why are you sorry that flash is complicated?? it's not your fault, it's the fault of the people who where unable to make a summary of a manual!:D

I messed around with flash for a little while, so I decided to make a flash movie. Then, I realized that using flash itself isn't the hard part. The hard part is DRAWING and drawing ONLY! ... Well, maybe for me. Everything else, from keyframes to motion tweens, is simple once you understand its purpose, which is also easy to figure out...

So much drawing for me to do. Part of me wished that I just used sprites and made a random sprite battle.

haha yes, i might but myself a grafic tablet so that drawing would be a little more easy.
and now i've found just the right tutorial and even made my first animation (it's a floating head wich looks at his side, and takes only 5 seconds:P)
