Dutch student media design and would-be artist. I don't have much experience in making games as much as designing them, but let's change that, shall we? Been away from NG for a long time, came back for the jam. Should really change my username.

Animating is hard and if you dont have a grafic tablet well your gona find it a lot harder to draw.

??? i don't realy get what you mean, but i'm sure i'll find out soon:s
you mean something so you don't have to draw with your mouse??
and if that is what it is then i will concider buying one because i hate drawing with the moudse, i always mess up the drawing because my hand shook a little.
thanks for your comment:)

I never use the manual. There are lots of helpful tutorials that make it easyer. Try the tutorial's section on newgrounds to start, and i found a few helpful guides on devientart.com (Might of typed it wrong)

And with the whole grafics tablet thing, its handy for some drawings and is great at fbf. But for detailed drawings (Like my snow sniper, lots of posts back in my account) i use the line tool and just bend the lines to fit.

Most important thing about animating is F6. Pressing F6 on your key board makes a frame. Faster then using the mouse.

*If you still cant draw, I might draw you something to practise on. It will be ready for animating.*

thanks i'll remind these tips:) i'm sure when i'm going to work on it the next time i'll remember them:)
thanks alot

lol, sorry for the later repy, i didnt know you where dutch, my friend david is american born, but moved holland, lol small world.

any ways, yeah thats really to bad, i hate to read long manuals, and i would hate to have to read it in something on not that used to. animating can be hard at time, but i find it stress releaving, while im sure others would call it stress causing lol.

well ive been animating since i was in 5th grade ,so ive had around 5 or 6 years of animating, even though i only really got into it these past 2 years, so really only two years of practice. i never use a grafic tablet, not even really sure what that is, lol. ive always drawn with the mouse, if its something that lets you draw in real life and then it puts it into the computer, thats something i need to lol i draw about 3 times better in real life lol.

well, there isnt really much i can do for you, like what was said earlier, you could use the tutorials on newgrounds, or you could try looking up flash tutorials on youtube.com or something like that. but i never learned through the manual, i just kinda messed around, pushed buttons and doodled on the screen until i figured things out. so i can suggest that, just start of doodling and drawing, but really i dont know how else to help, but if you ever need to ask about something or need tips, just pm me or any other newgrounds arts, alot of people on here are always happy to help out. good luck to you.

late reply??!!?!? i think your early every time:D
thanks for your comment, i can'y belive that you draw 3 times better than in your animation:O but therefor i do know that there are many people who can draw sickly good (can i say that in English??) i always buy those manga books and the fan-art inthere is also incredebly good, that's sortof what made me go manga drawing and animating:)
and the thing that was added is what i draw without computer (i practised 1 1/2 years on my style).
and in two weeks i'll start getting help with the program. (i have a big brother who can help me out.)
so for now i'll just practice on my manga drawing and watch some of these video's.
thanks for your comment and good luck:)

You may think that I'm your biggest foe, but I think you're just another twig to smash, just like your little clan.

hehehehe sure i'll belive it when i see it, so just for now your blocked.
see u on the battlefield.
